How to copy numbers or values without formulas in Excel?
When you copy numbers that are calculated results of formulas to other cells, those numbers will be changed after you paste, because normally you copy those formulas instead of their calculated results in this circumstance. This article will guide you to copy the calculated results of formulas without changing values in Excel:
Classic Menu for Office: brings back classic menus to Office 2010 and 2013 (includes Office 365).
Office Tab: brings tabbed interface to Office as the use of web browser Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
If you just want to copy the calculated results without copying their formulas, you can use Paste Special command as follows to copy numbers without copying formulas, but it will clear any formulas and formatting.
Step 1: Select and copy numbers which you want to paste without formulas.
Step 2: Select a cell, and right click on it. Then click the Values option under Paste Option item in the context menu, see the following screen shot:
Then you will see all numbers are pasted in the destination cells without formulas.
Note: Paste Special command clears not only formulas, but also formatting, such as bold, color, etc.
Have Kutools for Excel installed, Kutools for Excel's Copy Ranges function can quickly copy all numbers or values without formulas at once.
Please apply Copy Ranges by clicking Kutools > Copy Ranges. See screenshot:
Step 1. Select a range you want to copy only the values.
Step 2. Click Kutools > Copy Ranges, a dialog will be displayed in the screen. Check Values in the Paste special section, and click Ok. See screenshot:
Step 3. There will be another dialog displayed, please select a cell or range to paste the result. See screenshot:
Step 4. Click Ok. All the values in the range will be pasted without formula. See screenshots:
