How to customize excel tab layout on excel ribbon?

There are 3 excel tab layouts for you to customize excel ribbon: AutoSize, SizeToFit and Fixed.

You can also customize the max width of excel Tabs (for AutoSize and SizeToFit layout), and fixed width of excel Tabs (for fixed layout). Sometimes we need to deal with multiple excel spreassheets with a long name. If excel tabs display its whole name at the bottom of the new excel ribbon, the tab bar will be crowded. In this case, setting up a max width of the Workbook Tabs for Excel will be better. Navigate to the Excel Tab Options, in the setting center, choose the "Style & Color" tab, and then select the excel tab layout you like.
