If you need to make a link to current workbook file from somewhere, or make a copy of the save path of active workbook, you many need to use the window explorer for looking for the exact folder the workbook stays in. The Copy Full Path tool of Kutools for Excel will help you copy the save path and file name of current workbook quickly with one click.

Click "Kutools" >>"Workbook Tools" >> "Copy Full Path". See screenshot (Fig.1). Demo

Usage:

1. Click the "Workbook Tools" button under "Kutools" tab, and select the "Copy Full Path";

2. The name and path of the workbook will be stored in Clipboard, and you can insert it into cell by pressing Ctrl+V.

Note:

Users could not use this utility if they have never saved the current workbook (created just now).
