Quickly delete all Charts, text boxes and embedded OLE objects in Excel

When you need to delete all the unwanted objects such as the charts, text boxes and embedded OLE objects in the worksheets, you are not able to do it quickly but have to delete them one by one. The Delete Tools in Kutools for Excel can help you quickly delete all of them in one click.

Maybe you have inserted many charts, lines, pictures, auto shapes, smart arts or text boxes in Excel. But now you need to remove all of them or just some of them, it will not be a good idea if you delete them one by one. With the Delete Tools, you can quickly finish it.

1. Select the items you need to delete, such as Charts, Pictures, Lines, Text boxes in the Delete Tools dialog box. Tip: you can select just one option or multiple options.

2. Specify the scope you want to delete the items, you can choose to delete them in active sheets, selected sheets or all sheets. See screenshot:

3. Click OK to apply it. And the items you selected have been deleted.

Sometimes, there are some embedded OLE objects and linked OLE objects inserted into the Excel file, and how could you delete them at once?

Embedded OLE objects: Applications inserted into the Excel file, when you double-click it, can directly be modified within the program in which you place it.

Linked OLE objects: Applications inserted into the Excel file, when you double-click it, can open the native file to perform any edits.

1. Select the embedded OLE objects or linked OLE objects items you need to delete. The check box supports multiple-selecting.

2. Specify the scope you want to delete the items, you can choose to delete them in active sheets, selected sheets or all sheets. See screenshot:

3. Then click OK. All of embedded OLE objects or linked OLE objects have been removed from the Excel.
