Create a dynamic speedometer chart in Excel

With the Speedometer (Chart) feature, you can easily create a static speedometer chart, which will not change as you modify referred cell values in future.

1. Click Kutools > Charts > Progress > Speedometer Chart to activate this feature.

2. In the popping out dialog box, please specify the Max value, Min value, and Current value as you need, and choose a chart type (180° speedometer chart or 270° speedometer chart). See screenshot:

Tip: You can type the max value, min value, and current value into corresponding boxes directly.

3. Click the OK button to create a speedometer chart.

If you specify the chart type as 270° speedometer chart, you will get a speedometer chart as below screenshot shown:

If you specify the chart type as 180° speedometer chart, you will get a speedometer chart as below screenshot shown:

The Speedometer (Chart) feature can also help you create a dynamic speedometer chart easily, which will change automatically when you modify the referred cell values.

1. Click Kutools > Charts > Progress > Speedometer Chart to activate this feature.

2. In the popping out dialog box, please do as follows:
(1) Specify the Max value, Min value, and Current value as you need;
(2) Choose a chart type (180° speedometer chart or 270° speedometer chart);
(3) Check the Generate dynamic chart option. See screenshot:

3. Click the OK button.

4. Now a Kutools for Excel dialog box comes out and asks if create a new sheet. Click the Yes button or NO button as you need.

Notes:
(1) If clicking Yes, it will output the intermediate data in a new worksheet, and create the speedometer chart in the current worksheet.
(2) If clicking No, it will pop out a dialog and ask you to select a cell to output the intermediate data. Please select the first cell of the destination range, and click OK.

So far, the speedometer chart has been created. And when the referred max value, min value, or current value change, this speedometer chart will update automatically.

By the way, the data series of this speedometer will be inserted into a new sheet. See screenshot:
