Supposing you have a worksheet which contains multiple US date format (mm/dd/yyyy), but now you need to convert them to UK date format (dd/mm/yyyy). With this Apply Date Formatting tool, you can quickly finish it.
1. Highlight the range that you want to change the date format from US to UK.
2. Apply this utility by clicking Kutools > Format > Apply Date Formatting.
3. In the Apply Date Formatting dialog box, specify the UK format (dd/mm/yyyy). And you can preview the results at the Preview Pane. See screenshot:
4. Then click OK or Apply. The selected US date format have been converted to UK date format. Note: click OK button will close the dialog box and apply the operation; but click Apply button will only apply the operation without closing the dialog box. See screenshots:

Sometimes, there is a range of date in the worksheet, but you want to know the day of the week, not just only the date. With this utility, you can quickly do it.
1. Select the range that you want to change.
2. Go to the Apply Date Formatting dialog box, and select the specified format. And you can preview the results at the Preview Pane. See screenshot:
3. Then click OK or Apply. The selected date has been converted to day of the week. See screenshots:

Supposing you have a range of date such as 10/15/2012, and now you need to change this format to only displaying the month name such as October-2012. You can finish it quickly as following steps:
1. Select the range that you want to change.
2. Go to the Apply Date Formatting dialog box, and select the specified format. And you can preview the results at the Preview Pane. See screenshot:
