To rank cells ignoring errors, you just need to use an array formula.

Select a cell next to the list, C2 for instance, type this formula, =IF(ISNUMBER(A2),SUM(IF(ISNUMBER(A\$2:A\$12),(A2>A\$2:A\$12)/COUNTIF(A\$2:A\$12,A\$2:A\$12)))+1,"") and press Shift + Ctrl + Enter keys, then drag fill handle down to the cells which need to apply the formula.

In the formula, A2 is the first cell of the list you want to rank, A2:A12 is the list you use to rank.
