How to copy cell format from one cell (one sheet) to another cell (sheet)？
In some cases, you may want to copy one cell format only which you have specified already to another sheet cells without the cell contents, how can you quickly handle this job? In this article, I introduce two ways can copy the whole cell format or only part of the cell format from one specific cell to another cell(s).

Copy the whole cell format from one cell to another with Format Painter
The Format Painter can copy the specific cell format to the cell or ranges.
1. Select the cell which contains the format you want to use, click Home > Format Painter.
2. Then the cursor is changed to a paint brush, go to select the cells you want to paint with the specific cell format.

But if you just want to copy part of the specific cell format to the cells, the Format Painter cannot help you. In this case, the Copy Cell Formatting utility of Kutools for Excel can do you a favor.
After free installing Kutools for Excel, please do as below:
1. Select the cell you want to use its part of format, click Kutools > Format > Copy Cell Formatting.
2. Then in the Copy Cell Formatting dialog, all the formatting types of the cell are listed, you can check the formats you want to use in the dialog.
3. Click Ok, a dialog pops out to remind you select cells to apply the formats.
4. Click OK, now the cells have been formatted with part of format based on the specific cell.
