Excel: How to create or insert a bookmark
Have you ever imagined creating or inserting a bookmark for quickly jumping to a specific data range while there is a lot of data in a worksheet or a workbook? However, Excel does not support creating a bookmark. But fortunately, you can create a hyperlink instead of a bookmark.
Create a bookmark (hyperlink) to a cell position of the current sheet

1. Select a cell that you want to list the bookmark, and right-click to show the context menu.
2. In the Insert Hyperlink dialog, click Place in This Document from the left pane, then in the Text to display textbox, type the bookmark name you want to display, then go to Type the cell reference textbox, type the cell reference which you want to jump to while you click at the hyperlink. Click OK.
You can add a screen tip for more description about this bookmark by clicking ScreenTip and editing the description in the popping dialog.
Now the cell you selected has been inserted with a hyperlink and displayed text as you edit. Click it will jump to the cell reference you specify.
