How To Calculate the Percentage of Yes and No Ignoring N/A in Excel?

In Excel, a data range contains the values Yes, No, and N/A. You want to get the percentage of Yes and No separately, without taking N/A into account. Calculate the Percentage of Yes and No Ignoring N/A with Formula

To get the percentage of Yes and No separately, excluding N/A in the calculation, please do as follows.

1. Please copy the formula below into cell C2, then press the Enter key to get the result.

=COUNTIF(A2:A15,"Yes")/(COUNTIF(A2:A15,"Yes")+COUNTIF(A2:A15,"No"))

2. Format the result as percentage. Right-click the result cell and click Format Cells from the menu list. In the Format Cells dialog box, click Percentage in Category section under the Number tab, specify the decimal places as you need and then click OK.

3. Then you will get the result in percentage format.

Note:

To get the rate of No in the list, please apply the below formula in cell D2 and change the result format to percentage.
