How to change the default browser in Outlook?

Have you ever noticed that when clicking a hyperlink in an Outlook email, the web page automatically opens in your default browser? For some users, they prefer to open the web pages in other browsers like Firefox, Google instead of the default browser.
By default, Outlook uses your system's default browser to open hyperlinks. As far as I know, there is no way to have Outlook uses a different browser other than the one set as default on your computer system.
If you follow the steps in this tutorial to change the default browser in Outlook, the default browser on your computer system will also be changed.

Clickbait article, not about changing browser for Outlook but changing the default browser = it has nothing to do with Outlook per se.

That is changing default browser in general, not just in outlook. Dumb!

I found that going to default and then setting by apps. Then clicking google chrome - it showed all these file types and let me select chrome to open them. So lets say i get a pfd emailed to me throught outlook. When i click on the pdf it will open through chrome now instead of edge because i updated the default
