How to cancel/delete meeting without sending cancellation in Outlook?
Normally, in Outlook, when you cancel a meeting you have created and assigned in your calendar, the system will ask you to send a cancellation email to the attendees. But sometimes, you just want to cancel or delete a meeting from your calendar, and still want the meeting go on smoothly with all the attendees taking part in. That’s required you to cancel or delete the meeting without sending cancellation to others in Outlook. This tutorial will show you a little trick to achieve it.

Cancel or delete meeting without sending cancellation in Outlook
For canceling or deleting a meeting without sending cancellation to attendees, please do as follows.
1. Configure your Outlook to the Work Offline status.
1). In Outlook 2010 and 2013, please go to the Send / Receive tab, and then click to highlight the Work Offline button. See screenshot:
2). In Outlook 2007, please click File > Work Offline.
3). After highlighting the Work Offline button, you can see the status bar displays as below screenshot shows.
2. Go to the Calendar view.
3. Click to select the meeting you want to cancel and double click to open it.
Or you can just select the meeting and press the Delete key on the keyboard, then skip to the below Step 5.
4. In the popping up Meeting window, please click Cancel Meeting in the Actions group under Meeting tab. See screenshot:
5. Then click Send Cancellation button.
6. Now the cancellation email will be stuck in the Outbox, please shift to the Mail view and then click to open the Outbox folder.
7. In the Outbox folder, right click on the email and then select Delete from the right-clicking menu.
8. Click the Work offline button to connect to the internet again. And your canceled meeting will not be sent to others and just be deleted from your own calendar.
