Hi, I followed the second method displayed(account settings-settings-security...), but after I got to the security tab, the "Always prompt for logon credidentials" box was grey and it wouldn't let me click on it. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi The best way if to clear your credentials in your credential manager. First close your outlook. Open your control panel change the view by from Category to large or small icons. Search for credential manager on the list. If credential manager is opened go to the Windows Credential tab. Search for some sort of credential show Microsoft outlook with your email address. Remove credential. Close control panel and credential manager and start outlook again. Now it will prompt you for a password. Do not click on remember my credential box as it will store your credentials again.
