How to identify the searching email’s folder location in Outlook?
In Outlook, you can search emails by entering the criteria in the search bar, but could you identify the folder location of the searching results while searching across multiple accounts? In this article, I will introduce the method on identifying the folders of searching emails in Outlook.

In Outlook, you can set to display the folder name in the Mailing list while searching.
1. Firstly, make sure the searching scale is All Outlook Items.
2. Click View > Add Columns.
3. In Show Columns dialog, do as these:
1) select All Mail Fields from Select available columns from drop-down list;
2) then click In Folder in Available columns pane;
3) click Add to add In Folder to Show these columns in this order pane;
4) Click Move Up to move the In Folder to the top.
4. Click OK. Now after searching, the folder name will be displayed in the top of each email result.

If you have Kutools for Outlook installed in Outlook, you can use its Open Folder utility which embed in right-click menu to quickly open the folder of the searching result.
Free install Kutools for Outlook, and then do as below steps:
1. Firstly, make sure the searching scale is All Outlook Items.
2. After searching, right click at the result to select Open Folder form the right-click menu.
