How to open Auto Recover file location to recover the lost word document?

5. In the opening AutoRecover file folder, please select the specified ASD file of lost word document, and click the Open button. See screenshot:

Notes:
(1) If the document is new and never been saved, the file name will be something like “AutoRecovery save of Document 1.asd";
(2) If the document was already manually saved, but you lost intervening work between saves, it will have the name of the saved document (e.g, “Autocovery save of Remove indents.asd“).

Do you mean there is no files under the AutoRecover folder? Actually, if you Word document is closed by accident without saving, you will get the recovery version in the Document Recovery pane, when you open the document next time.

Hi, i have a corrupt .doc file that i can not repair. A friend recommended me WordFIX but i don't know anything about the software. What do you think? What software should I use?

Thank you sooo much, for helping me recover my work. Windows 8.1 installed itself overnight, without my permission, and despite me having the "let me choose whether to install updates" setting on. I came down this morning to find several days work gone and I was so mad at Microsoft I nearly through my laptop out the window!

auto recover file location not available how can find it how can i recover it excel file suddenly closed and it not shoe recover option but recover is enable only how can i find the recover file
