Does your every Excel sheet has the shadows? Or only certain sheets have shadows. If only certian sheets have shadows, could you please attach the specific sheet and send that to us? So that we can try to reproduce the problem.

This is happening on every sheet. Different sections are shadowed but it is happening on every sheet.

Also I have noticed the entire function of Excel has slowed down. It is feeling very sluggish since the install.

Sorry for the delayed reply, we were on vacation for the last week...

Please try the below two approches:
1. Uninstall and reinstall the add-in.
2. Select any highlight feature from the Desgin tab, and then deselect it.

If the shadow problem still exists, please send us an error report to us by clicking Kutools > Feedback > Error Submission.
