Windows 10, Office 2016 and Office Tab 13.10(64bit)
Several files/tabs are open in MS Word.
Whenever I close the last tab (i.e. the one last opened) , Word disappears. The Word window is gone and there is no Word icon on the Task Bar.
I have to relaunch Word, and it opens as it never was closed, with all the tabs in place. (That why I think it only disappears and not closed down).
Any Help?
Hello,
Please try to disable all the other add-ins in your Word add-ins manager.
And if the problem persists, please try to contact us.

I've been fighting the same issue for over a year.

Jay - I worked with you on June 12, 13, and 14 of 2018 and you had me try:
- download and reinstall
- disable all other add-ins
- sent you a screenshot
- disable antivirus

None worked and the issue persists.

Meir - when it happens, if you open Task Manager, you'll see that Word is still running. Right click and you can select "Bring to Bring" which causes Word to display again. It's a big pain, but a bit of a workaround.

That version is registering as an all new version ( v14) and my upgrade period has expired and I can't install it. I am a bit hesitant to purchase again just to test this version as it may not fix the issue....

Attempting that link results in an XML output:
