Extend the range of dependent drop down list with only one click

If you apply the Dynamic Drop-down list feature of Kutools for Excel to create 2-5 level dependent drop down list in a specific range of cells (for example: G2:I5), sometimes, you may want to extend the range of created dependent drop down list to the range of G6:I10 as below screenshot shown. Instead of creating the dependent drop down list once again, the Expand Dynamic Drop-down list Range feature can help you to expand the original dependent drop down list range with only one click.

To extend the 2-5 level dependent drop down list range, please do as this:

1. Click a cell which contains the dependent drop down list, and then click Kutools > Drop-down List > Expand Dynamic Drop-down list Range, see screenshot:

2. In the popped out Kutools for Excel box, please select the range of cells (including part of the original cells) which the drop-down list needs to be expanded, such as G5:I10, see screenshot:

Note: When selecting the extended range of cells, please make sure that part of the original dependent drop down list range is included.

3. Then, click OK, and a prompt box is popped out to remind you the operation is completed, see screenshot:

4. Click OK to close the box, and now, you will see the dependent drop down lists have been extended to the specific range of cells, see screenshot:

Note: This feature only supports the 2-5 level dependent drop-down list created by the Dynamic Drop-down List feature of Kutools for Excel.
