 Create a nightingale rose chart for single series of values

This section talks about creating a nightingale rose chart for single series of values with the Nightingale Chart feature in Excel.

1. Select the source data you will create the nightingale rose chart based on.

2. Click Kutools > Charts > Difference Comparison > Nightingale Chart to enable this feature.

3. In the Nightingale Chart dialog, you need to do as follows:
(1) In the Chart Type section, check the Single Series option;
(2) In the Select Data section, specify proper ranges in the Category label and Series value range boxes.
Tips: By default, the Category label and Series value range boxes are filled automatically based on the selected source data. If the autofill ranges are incorrect, you can change them as need.
(3) Click the OK button.

Then the nightingale rose chart for the single series of values is created as below screenshot shown.


 Create a nightingale rose chart with inequality angles

This section guides you to create a nightingale rose chart with inequality angles by the Nightingale Chart feature in Excel.

1. Select the source data you will create the nightingale rose chart based on.

2. Click Kutools > Charts > Difference Comparison > Nightingale Chart to enable this feature.

3. In the Nightingale Chart dialog, you need to do as follows:
(1) In the Chart Type section, check the Inequality angle option;
(2) In the Select Data section, specify the proper ranges in the Category label, Series value range, and Angle boxes separately;
(3) Click the OK button.

Then the nightingale rose chart with inequality angles is created as below screenshot shown.


 Create a nightingale rows for multiple series of values

This section introduces the guidance of creating a nightingale rose chart for multiple series of values by the Nightingale Chart feature in Excel.

1. Select the source data that you will create the nightingale rose chart based on.

2. Click Kutools > Charts > Difference Comparison > Nightingale Chart to enable this feature.

3. In the Nightingale Chart dialog, you need to do as follows:
(1) In the Chart Type section, check the Multi-series option;
(2) In the Select Data section, choose proper ranges in the Category label, Series name, and Series value range boxes separately;
(3) Click the OK button.

Then the nightingale rose chart for multiple series of values is created as below screenshot shown.


 Notes

1. In the Nightingale Chart dialog, you can click the Example button to open an example workbook. However, the operation will close the current dialog.

2. When creating the nightingale rose chart, it will create a hidden sheet (named as “Kutools_Chart”) to store some intermediate data.
