Quickly export multiple emails to separate Pdf / Csv / Word or other file formats in Outlook

Author: Kelly Last Modified: 2024-06-25

Typically, using Outlook's Save as feature allows you to save a single email as a text, Html, or other Outlook message formats. However, if you're looking to export multiple emails into separate Pdf, Txt, Html, or other files in bulk, we highly recommend the Save as PDF feature of Kutools for Outlook. This powerful tool enables you to effortlessly batch save all selected emails as individual files, streamlining your email management process in Outlook.

📁 Multiple File Types:

Unlike Outlook's native options, Kutools allows saving emails in a variety of file formats, including Pdf, Excel, Word, Html, Txt and Csv, providing flexibility for how you archive and share emails.

📚 Batch Saving:

Kutools lets you quickly save many emails as separate files all at once, making it easy to manage or archive lots of messages. With Outlook, you'd have to save each email individually, which can be time-consuming for users who need to archive multiple emails.

⚙️ Customized Saving:

Kutools gives you the choice to save only the email body, just the subject, or both, allowing for a more personalized way to keep your emails. Outlook, on the other hand, saves the whole email by default, offering less flexibility.

🚀 Ease of Use:

Kutools simplifies the process of email archiving, especially when dealing with bulk actions.

Does not work. Saves files as PDF's then freezes Outlook. Only way to fix is to use task manager to kill outlook.

That might work, but it prevents emails from opening in a new window when I click on them.

Hi Jim, I'd like to clarify if, after installing the beta version, you're experiencing a situation where double-clicking on an email doesn't open the email in a new window. Could you please specify whether this issue arose after using a particular feature of Kutools, or if it occurred solely due to the beta version installation?

Is there any way to save the messages as threads vs. separate emails? For long chains - exporting them in bulk ends up creating a nightmare. Also - the select new folder option in Saving these files consistently does not allow renaming from "New Folder"... Just evaluating the tool as of today - and so far, not impressed.

LOL, easy peasy lemon squeezy, not working well.
I choose 7 emails > then choose all formats - and it's stuck on 11% WTF? What do I do wrong? I only got five formats from one mail.
