Quickly copy current open files or documents in Word

Kutools for Word's Copy Current File and Copy All Open Files utility can copy current open Word files or documents to clipboard, and then you can paste them into any folders or to attach the in emails. With this utility, you don't need to navigate to the specific folder which contains the specific open files or documents to copy them in Windows Explorer.

For example, if you want to attach the current open document in your email, you don't need to click Attach button to navigate to the folder of current open document to attach it. You just need to apply Copy Current File or Copy All Open Files to copy the open documents in Word, and then you can go to paste them into your email as attached files in Outlook.

If you need to quickly copy current open document in Microsoft Word application without using a VBA or navigating to the folder of the document in Windows Explorer, you can qucikly copy current open document as follows:

1. Please apply the utility by clicking Click Kutools > More > Copy Current File.

2. You will see there is showing a message in your Word Status bar as shown in the below screenshot.

Tip: Since the document has been copied, you can paste it into another file folder or for any other purpose.

Note: A never saved document cannot be copied with this utility.

If you want to quickly copy all open files or documents in Microsoft Word application without using a VBA or navigating to the folder of the documents in Windows Explorer, you can qucikly copy all open documents as follows:

1. Please apply the utility by clicking Click Kutools > More > Copy All Open Files.

2. You will see there is showing a message in your Word Status bar as shown in the below screenshot.

Tip: Since the documents have been copied, you can paste it into another file folder or for any other purpose.

So...the Copy File (and by association, I assume the Copy All Open Files) command is not working. If it's simply "Paste" that needs to be executed to do the job, it should do it...perhaps we're missing a step?
