Remove all space or tab indents from the whole document
If your Word document contains space/tab indents at the beginning of lines, as shown in the screenshot below, and you want to remove them all instantly, follow these steps:
- Place your cursor anywhere in the document and apply this utility by clicking Kutools > Indents > Remove All Spaces/Tab Indents.
- After clicking Remove All Space/Tab Indents, all space/tab indents will be removed immediately from the entire document.
Notes:
- Remove All Space/Tab Indents only removes space or tab indents. Space indents are created by pressing the Space key, while tab indents are made using the Tab key. See screenshot:
- This option does not remove other types of indents, such as:
- Left indents: Created using the left indent marker. To remove all left indents, go to the Remove Left Indents page.
- Right indents: Created using the right indent marker. To remove all right indents, go to the Remove Right Indents page.
- Hanging indents: Created using the hanging indent marker.
- First line indents: Created using the first line indent marker. To remove all first line indents, go to the Remove First Line Indents page.
- Left indents: Created using the left indent marker. To remove all left indents, go to the Remove Left Indents page.
