Quickly select all single-column tables in Word

Selecting every single-column table manually from a document filled with various table layouts can be time-consuming. With the Select Single Column Tables tool in Kutools for Word, you can easily select all single-column tables either from the whole document or just a selected portion with one click.

Click Kutools > Tables > Select Single Column Tables. See screenshot:

Select all single-column tables from the whole document

To select all single-column tables from the entire document, follow these steps:

  1. Place the cursor outside of any table, then click Kutools > Tables > Select Single Column Tables.
  2. In the pop-up Select dialog, click the Yes button.

  3. A dialog will appear showing how many single-column tables have been selected. Click the OK button to proceed.

All single-column tables across the document are now selected. See the screenshots below:

Select all single-column tables from a selection of the document

To select all single-column tables from a specific part of the document, follow these steps:

  1. Select the portion of the document that contains the tables.
  2. Click Kutools > Tables > Select Single Column Tables.
  3. In the pop-up dialog, click the OK button.
