Office Tab supports opening, viewing, editing multiple Office documents in a single tabbed window, like the web browsers - Google Chrome, Firefox and so on.
It brings the tabbed interface to Microsoft Office 2021, 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007, 2003 and Office 365 (include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Project and Visio).

Save All in One Click
A key advantage of Office Tab is that you can save time by consolidating your actions! For example, if you've opened multiple files, you don’t have to save and close them individually; just click "Save All" from the Context menu and all your files are saved. Want to close all opened files? Simply select "Close All” and all your files will be closed.
Manage Documents in Groups details
In Office Tab, you can add a saved Microsoft Office file to a group. You can quickly open a group of documents or a group of Excel files and so on. With this Favorites Group feature, you can apply the following operations to a group of documents in Microsoft Office applications easily.
Add a document to a group;
Rename Files Easily
You don’t have to open the "Save As" dialog to rename a file. Just click "Rename" on the Context Menu in the tab and enter the new file name—it’s that simple! If you want to save the file in another folder, select "Save As" from the Context Menu.
Displays Full File Name
If a file name is long, typically, the Windows taskbar displays only a small part of it, which is often a problem. However, with Office Tab installed, you will able to see the entire file name on the Tab Bar, no matter how long it is.
Useful Context Menu
Right-click on a tab or Tab Bar to access the tab/tab bar context menu. Office Tab also combines some common command items in Microsoft Office, letting you access those items more quickly.
The tabbed interface allows you to open multiple documents in a single window. Each document appears as a new tab within the window (not a new window) and can be accessed with one click. This feature improves your efficiency when working with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, Access and Visio).
Office Tab is based on the standard Microsoft Office Add-in Technology. It does not impact the performance of the standard application and has an extremely small file size.
Tabs can be moved easily by dragging. You can switch between tabs using the mouse or you can activate a tab by pressing Alt + N (“N” being the tab order "1, 2, 3…").
Customize Tab Appearance
The colors of the tabs and the Tab Bar are customizable. There are 11 styles for you to choose from. Within each style, the font style and the name of each tab can be changed to suit your preference (to apply these changes, you will need to close and restart Microsoft Office).
Office Tab supports plenty of built-in as well as user-defined shortcuts to handle the tabs, hide/display the Tab Bar, switch between tabs, and select specific tabs. Personalized shortcuts are easy to assign.
You can place the Tab Bar on the top, bottom, right or left side of your workspace. You can even hide the Tab Bar when there is only one tab. You may also show or hide the Tab Bar using a customizable shortcut key (the default shortcut key is “Win + Q”).
The Context Menu contains the following options: "Open," "Open in New Window," and "Open Folder." It's easy to open an existing file or folder, and open more than one tabbed window.
Office Tab has a powerful Settings Center, where you can configure all Office Tab settings. You can use the Tab Center to manipulate all your settings such as enabling/disabling the tab separately, using shortcuts (or not), displaying the Tab Bar on the top, bottom, left or right position, choosing the Tab Style, and customizing the tab colors.
You can quickly create a New Document by double-clicking the left button on the blank space of the Tab Bar, or choose to use the "New" command item on the Context Menu.
"Save" and "Save All" commands on the Context Menu can be used to save all the documents with just one click. Office Tab marks the modified documents or workbooks with an asterisk (*) in their file names to indicate their modified status.
The Context Menu also contains the following options: "Close," "Close All," and "Close Other,” offering users flexibility in closing the opened documents. Double-clicking the left button on the tab or clicking the middle mouse button will quickly close the opened document.
The tab length can be set to automatic, self-adaptive, or fixed (the default length is “automatic”). Automatic shows as much of the file name as possible. Self-adaptive shows the file name depending on the space available on a tab. With fixed tab length, all the tabs have the same length.
I usualy work with Excel and I found Kutools as a tool to make work more effective. In fact, Kutools is an excellent work tool.
Now, I'm working on an Excel document that I need make some changes too. It's an important document, include all of students and it has many worksheets, so I will use kutools to turn my task more easier and faster.
Thank you for this great tool.
I have been using KUTools for Word for several months now and simply cannot do without it. It is the best tools for Word, for sure!
I am an officer, I often use Office for my work and the tool (Kutools) is very useful for me.
I can save a lot of time on many Word and Excel operations. Ex: you can spit last-mid-first name very easily by some mouse-click (If only use Excel without add-in as this tool, you need to combine "RIGHT", "LEFT", "MID", "FIND" or "SEARCH" functions to split name),.....
I really like it, five star!

Wonderful software to improve productivity, save time and make more money in the process.
KuTools for Outlook is the best add-on for Outlook that I have found, and I have looked at a lot of add-ons. KuTools extends Outlook greatly and makes me more productive. I cannot imagine using Outlook without KuTools.

Мне не нужно много писать, вы лучшие в своём деле, я всем рекомендую только вас , спасибо вам !!!
Ku Tools for Word, Ku Tools for Excel, and Office Tabs are the very best tools in my software library. I use them every single day, because hey are all filled with tools that are guaranteed to at least double your productivity, when you are working in either Word or Excel.
These tools are worth their weight in gold and besides my personal experience, now I will share my background, so you can trust my recommendation.
I have been teaching software applications for over twenty years, and spend 12 hours a day on the computer. Here are just a few of the applications:
As a chess master …
Once every three months I hold webinars where I teach my students how to use the high end features of high end chess database software.
As a financial analyst …
I use Excel to build templates, design business models, crunch numbers, and make projections.
As a published author …
I use Microsoft Word to write books, format the content to publish on Amazon, and have spent many hours customizing Word in order to multiply my productivity.
About two weeks ago, I counted the number of applications I’ve used in the last 6 months, and the total came to exactly 33.
I know software. Ku Tools is one of the best and most useful I’ve ever seen.
I am using KuTools for Excel. As a 70 year old I find some of Excel's functions very complicated & time consuming to work out how to use them.
Excel is an excellent program but with KuTools it becomes superb. KuTools make complicated tasks easy & also saves loads of time.
I recommended very highly.

They Also expanded addition Routine functions for dates and times, a formula helper I been use Kutools add-in for years. I have the Excel, Word and outlook Kutoold add-in. I am a student of International Trade. So I work a lot on data especially HS codes which contain more than five thousand rows and descriptions!
After having used Kutools add-ins for Excel, I could remove a big burden from my shoulder! Kutools for Excel does make your life much easier and more efficient if you are "full time" Excel user! It really saves your time. Because it completes tasks within seconds that otherwise would take hours from you if you do manually!
Hats off to the developers and team!
I have used Office Tab for some years and it is great. I recently started using the Office Favourites and find them really useful to access any group of office files easily. However it is annoying that I seem to have to open an office application before accessing My favourites. Would it be possible to add a way to open favourites in the Office Tab settings App ?
Kutools is absolutely the business! It does all the stuff that Excel should do but can't! The functions are unbelievable and every time I discover another one it just makes me smile and laugh how handy it is. Well done to the dev's. And this is not a paid review either. It's just a bloody handy tool. Many thanks!
Just started using your product for excel and wanted to relay my appreciation. This thing is fantastic. Keep up the great work.
I purchased your EXCEL tool for one reason. I have to do a job every month where a Trial Balance exported from an accounts program in the form of CSV has to be mapped to specific cells in a spreadsheet which then forms a set of management accounts. Same job, every time, you'd think it was simple! But no. The CSV file changes every time, because if new accounts are used, it then adds those lines, and until you come to do it, you do not know which ones have been added. I have a workbook into which I put the new file, and match it to the old one, then by using TRUE / FALSE, it highlights the lines which are different. I then insert new lines and add them, then remap the new ones. The bit that was causing me lots of time was then working out if I had mapped them all or missed any. I had to go through ONE by ONE using the TRACE Dependants routine, and there are 900 lines each with 3 cells, so 2,700 to check. YOUR fantastic product allows me to check ALL of them at the same time! If only I had found this years ago. It looks like you have many other interesting tools, so I will check them out when I have finished my work. Thank you so much.
I do my billing with an Excel workbook. I have 50+ invoices that need to be manually tweaked, saved as individual PDF’s, then emailed out. I finally searched the web for a tool to automate this process and found KuTools. The Split WorkBook works perfectly!!!
