Powerful random number generator in Excel 2007/2010

Normally if you want to generate random number in Excel, you have to learn how to use the Excel’s RAND or RANDBETWEEN function to generate random number for you. Generally speaking, it’s not easy for you to quickly generate random number in Excel. But with this powerful Range Randomize Utilities tool of Kutools for Excel, you can:

Randomly rearrange cells of a specified range;
Randomly select or pick cell(s) from a specified range;
Quickly generate random number in specified range. Demo

Note: “Range Randomize Utilities” supports Undo operation, so you can press Undo (Ctrl+Z) immediately to restore it.

Click Kutools >> Modify >> Range Randomize Utilities. See screenshots (Fig.1 and Fig.2).

Usage:

You can specify the range of cells you want to work with before or after clicking Range Randomize Utilities.

1. Randomly rearrange cells of a specified range:

1.1 Specify the range and select “Rearrange the selected cells in random order” option;

1.2 Clicks “OK”. See screenshots (Fig.3 and Fig.4).

2. Randomly select or pick cell (s) from a specified range:

2.1 Specify the range and select “Select cell(s) at random” option;

2.2 Clicks “OK”. See screenshots (Fig.5 and Fig.6).

3. Quickly generate random number in specified range:

3.1 Specify the range and select “Insert a sequence of integers in random order” option;

3.2 Specify a Beginning with value and an Increment value;

3.3 Clicks “OK”. See Screenshots (Fig.7 and Fig.8).
