A Flexible Way to Sort Sheets in Microsoft Excel 2007/2010
Normally Excel does not support you with one click to quickly rearrange the order of sheets, either in alphabetical or numeric order. You may need to drag and drop the sheet tabs to rearrange them in the sheet tab bar one by one if you want to sort the sheets order. There is not a handy way for rearranging sheets in a large workbook. With Kutools for Excel’s Sort Sheets tool, you can quickly: Demo
- Sort the sheets in a quite handy way;
- Sort sheets in alphabetical, strict alphanumeric or reverse order with one click.
Click "Kutools">>"Worksheets Tools">>"Sort Sheets". See screenshots (Fig.1 and Fig.2).

2. Sort sheets according following options:
2.1 Click the Move Up or Move Down button, or drag the sheets in the dialog box to quickly rearrange the sheets order.
2.2 Sort sheets in alphabetical order. For example, there are 7 worksheets with chaotic order in the current workbook, and they are sheet1, treasure, accompany, sheet3, align, agency, sheet2, and compare. Notes:

2. The “strict alphanumeric order” and “Reverse Order” require clicking “Alpha Sort” after choosing those options to apply the changes.
