Opening an excel file leads to two Excel Windows

This just stated happening recently and I don't know how to fix it, I'm running Office 2016 click to run. When opening an excel file, the file opens, but then another window opens with "KutoolsforExcel.xlam". If I close that window, it wasn't to close both excel windows. Any way to hide the window showing the excel add in again?

Hi Jay,

Thanks for the response! Before I had a change to reinstall the latest version (was already on it), my computer updated to Win10 Fall Creators update, and now everything is working again. If it happens again, I'll let you know.

Hi, I am experiencing the same issue. When I go to open an existing excel file from file explorer (double clicking on it), excel opens a blank window and the sheet I clicked on. If I disable the KuTools Com add in, I don't have this problem.

Running KuTools 16.50
Office 365 ProPlus
Windows 10 Enterprise version 1703

Any help would be appreciated.

No, I have not installed ASAP. Why would I install another add-in that does the same as kutools?
