It may be difficult for you to create QR code based on a specific cell value in Excel, but, if you have Kutools for Excel, with its Insert QR Code feature, you can create multiple QR codes based on cell values quickly and easily.

Create multiple QR codes based on cell values in Excel

To insert a list of QR codes based on cell values, please do as this:

1. Click Kutools > Insert > Insert QR Code, see screenshot:

2. In the Insert QR Code pane, please do the following operations:

(1.) Select the data cells that you want to insert the QR codes based on, and choose the cells where to locate the QR codes under the Data Range and Insert Range separately;

(2.) Then specify the size, line color, background color and error correction lever for the QR codes to your need in the Options section.

3. And then, click Generate button, and the relative QR codes have been inserted into the cells matches with the cell values, see screenshot:

Note: If the size of the QR code exceeds 500 pixels you entered, a prompt message will remind you as below screenshot shown:

I HAVE INSTALLED KUTOOLS....BUT I CANNOT MANAGE TO CREATE QR-CODE FOR DATA (FROM EXCEL CHART).

I am creating QR codes that have a simple number string. Is it possible to make my numeric string visible at the bottom of the QR code?

Requiero generar QR en diferentes hojas de un mismo libro de excel; tambien requiero localizar el código en una celda específica y que no altere los margenes y áreas de impresion, que he designado a cada hoja.

Al 'insertar el rango de las celdas' dónde apareceran los QR, me indica error.

I am using the feature to generate some QRCode. I just want to know that is there any expiry date of these QRCode that after this time scanning will not work.

With feature, you can just insert the QR codes into the worksheet. You can save the worksheet as PDF file as you need.
Do you want to save each QR code to one pdf file? or save the worksheet with generated QR codes as a PDF file?

I'm not sure if a 2d code is the same as a QR code, but does the cell with the information have to be a website, or can it be just numbers? I need to create 2d codes that correspond to the sequential numbers because our inserting machine can read the 2d code better than just a printed number.

Hello ; I bought Kutools and Ku Tools plus but I only have 'insert Barcode" // "insert Bullet"// "insert Numbering" but I do not have "Inset QR code". Where/how can I find this option in Ku tool (plus) ?
