How to print row and column headings in Excel?
While printing worksheets, for easily figuring out the cell location in the printout, many Excel users tend to print the row and column headings together with the sheet content. Row headings are the row numbers to the side of the sheet, and the column headings are the letters or numbers that appear above the columns on a sheet. You can print worksheet with row and column headings as follows.
1. In the worksheet which you want to print with the row and column numbers, please click Page Layout tab, and then check the Print box in the Sheet Options group under Headers section. See screenshot:
2. Then click File > Print in Excel 2010 and 2013, you can see the Print Preview in the right side. Then click the Print button to start printing.
In Excel 2007, click the Office button > Print > Print Preview to check for the printout before printing. And then click the Print button.
