For instance, you have a list of cell contents, each cell contains several words, what your job is to add comma after first word in these cells as below screenshot shown, how can you quickly solve it? In this tutorial, I introduce some tricks to easily handle this problem.
Select a blank cell, and enter any one of above formulas, and then drag autofill handle down to apply this formula to cells. See screenshot:
Note: In above formulas, A1 is the cell you want to add comma after the first word, you can change it as you need.

Sorry it cannot work for you. Is there a space before every first word in your data? Beacuase the above methods are adding comma after the first space, if there are spaces before the first word, you need to remove the space first and then apply above ways. Hope it helps.
