When we open workbooks from "Recent" in Excel backstage view frequently, we may forget workbooks' saving path, however, Excel doesn't support to open the folder that contains the active workbook with one click. The Open Containing Folder utility of Kutools for Excel will easily open the folder that contains current workbook, and select this workbook.

How to apply the Open Containing Folder utility
Click Kutools Plus >> Workbook >> Open Containing Folder. See screenshot:

1. Please active a workbook that you want to open its folder and select it in the folder, and then applying this utility by clicking Kutools Plus > Workbook > Open Containing Folder.
2. The folder that contains current workbook will be opened in Window Explorer, and this workbook is selected. See screenshot:
Note: This utility will not apply to a never saved workbook.
