Easily search the function of Kutools for Excel

As more and more features are released by Kutools for Excel these years, finding a needed feature seems a little annoying for our customers. We are now providing a Search box for searching features by keywords to enhance your work efficiency. This tutorial will show you how to apply this Search box in details.

Easily search the function of Kutools for Excel

Please do as follows to apply the Search box to search for specific features by keywords.

1. Click Kutools or Kutools Plus > Search > Search Function of  Kutools (in the Help group) to enable this search box. See screenshot:

Tips: You can also press the shortcut key Alt + S to enable the search box by default. If you want to disable this shortcut, please click Kutools > Search > Disable Alt + S Shortcuts option. See screenshot:

Then a Search Kutools Functions box is shown on the ribbon.

2. For finding a specific feature, you need to configure as follows.

Tips: After listing all related features based on entered keywords, you can also use the mouse to click a feature name to enable it directly.

Notes::

1. Click the button in the search box to clear the entered keywords;

2. Click the button above the search box to close it;

3. The location of the selected feature will be displayed at the bottom of the list box;

4. You can move this search box anywhere by dragging and dropping.
