What Should I Do If the License Information Is Invalid?

Author: Tech Support Last Modified: 2024-12-27

If you encounter issues with license registration, the following are the most common reasons and their solutions:

Ensure the Software You Are Registering Is the Software You Purchased

How to verify:

  • Classic Menu for Office: Launch Classic Menu Manager via Start > All Programs > Classic Menu for Office > Classic Menu Manager, then go to the About tab.
  • Classic Menu Manager
  • If you purchased Classic Menu for Office Enterprise 2010 and 2013, use its license information. Otherwise, download the correct software from our website.
  • Office Tab: Launch Office Tab Center via Start > All Programs > Office Tab > Office Tab Center, then go to the About tab.
  • Office Tab Center
  • If you purchased Office Tab Enterprise, use its license information. Otherwise, download the correct software from our website.
  • Kutools for Excel: Launch KTE Setting Center via Start > All Programs > Kutools for Excel > KTE Setting Center, then go to the About tab.
  • KTE Setting Center
  • If you purchased Kutools for Excel, use its license information. Otherwise, download the correct software from our website.

Incorrect Spelling of Either the License Name or License Code

To avoid spelling errors:

  • Copy the license name and code directly from the registration email.
  • If your license name is "Tony Jim-1", enter "Tony Jim" and "-1" exactly as shown.
Note: "-1" might not display as part of your license name but must be entered.

If you still face issues, email us at sales@extendoffice.com with a screenshot of the About window from the software.
