How to import and Export RSS Feeds in Outlook?
Let's say you have collected and added a variety of RSS Feeds in Microsoft Outlook in a long time, but now you need to change your computer and copy these RSS Feeds into the new one. Export RSS Feeds from Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Outlook allows you to export RSS Feeds as an .opml file, which enables you to share it with others, or copy it at ease.
Step 1: Open the Import and Export dialog box:
- In outlook 2007, please click the File > Import and Export.
- In Outlook 2010, please click the File > Open > Import.
- In Outlook 2013, please click the File > Open & Export > Import / Export.
Step 2: In the Import and Export Wizard dialog box, please select and highlight the Export RSS Feeds to an OPML file, and click the Next button.
Step 3: In the Export to an OPML file dialog box, click the Select All button to select all RSS Feeds, and then click the Next button.
Note: You can manually check the RSS Feeds one by one that you want to export in the Choose the RSS Feeds you want to export: box.
Step 4: In the Export to an OPML file dialog box, click the Browse button.
Step 5: In the OPML File dialog box,
- Open the folder you will save the OPML file of exported RSS Feeds into;
- Type a name for the exported RSS Feeds in the File name: box.
- Click the Save button.
Step 6: Click the Next button.
Then you will find out an .opml file in the specified folder you opened in Step 5.
Import RSS Feeds into Microsoft Outlook
This section will walk you through importing RSS Feeds of an .opml file into Microsoft Outlook. Please do it as following:
Step 1: Open the Import and Export dialog box:
- In outlook 2007, please click the File > Import and Export.
- In Outlook 2010, please click the File > Open > Import.
- In Outlook 2013, please click the File > Open & Export > Import / Export.
Step 2: In the Import and Export Wizard dialog box, select the Import RSS Feeds from an OPML file, and then click the Next button.
Step 3: In the Import an OPML file dialog box, click the Browse button.
Step 4: In the OPML File dialog box, firstly find out and select an .opml file, and then click the Open button.
Step 5: Click the Next button in the Import an OPML file dialog box.
Step 6: Then in the new Import an OPML file dialog box, click the Select All button to select all of RSS Feeds to import, and then click the Next button.
Note: You can automatically check the RSS Feeds one by one that you will import.
Step 7: Click the Finish button.
Then all selected RSS Feeds are imported into Microsoft Outlook in a minute.
