How to save custom voting buttons in Outlook email?
Itβs easy to add custom voting buttons in an Outlook email by clicking Options > Use Voting Buttons > Custom. But, do you know how to save your custom voting buttons in an email for reusing in future? This article will introduce two solutions for you:

Save custom voting buttons in email with a draft email
This method will guide you to create an email with custom voting buttons, save this email as a draft email, and then reuse this draft email in Outlook. Please do as follows:
1. In the Mail view, click Home > New Email to create a new email.
2. In the new email window, please click Options > Use Voting Buttons > Custom. See screenshot:
3. In the opening Properties dialog box, please type the voting choices into the Use Voting buttons box, and click the Close button. See screenshot:
Note: Please separate each choice with a semicolon in the Use voting buttons box.
4. Add other information as you need in the new email, and then click the Save button and the Close button successively on the Quick Access Toolbar. See screenshot:
And now the email with custom voting buttons is saved as a draft email in Outlook. To reuse the draft email repeatedly, please go ahead as follows:
Note: If you are using Microsoft Outlook 2010 or earlier versions, please start from the Step 7 directly.
5. Click File > Options to open the Outlook Options dialog box.
6. In the Outlook Options dialog box, please click Mail in the left bar, check the Open replies and forwards in a new window option, and click the OK button. See screenshot:
7. Now you return to the main interface of Outlook. Please (1) open the Drafts folder containing the specified draft email, (2) select the specified draft email, and then (3) click Home > Forward. See screenshot:
8. Now the draft email is copied and opened in message window. Please compose it as you need, and then click the Send button.
Note: You can reuse the draft email with custom voting buttons at any time by above Step 7-8.
Save custom voting buttons in email with an email template
This method will guide you to create a new email with custom voting buttons, save the email as an email template, and then reuse the email template easily in Outlook.
1. In the Mail view, click Home > New Email to create a new email.
2. In the opening Message window, please click Options > Use Voting Buttons > Custom. See screenshot:
3. In the Properties dialog box, type the custom voting choices into the Use Voting buttons box (note: please separate voting choices with semicolons), and click the Close button. See screenshot:
4. Add other information as you need in the email, and click File > Save As.
5. In the Save As dialog box, please select Outlook Template (*.oft) from the Save as type drop down list, and click the Save button. See screenshot:
Notes:
(1) The email template will be named with the email subject automatically. You can change it as you need in the File name box.
(2) When specifying the file type as Outlook Template, the default user template folder will open automatically as the destination folder. You can specify the destination folder as you need.
6. Close the email without saving.
So far you have created an email template with custom voting buttons. For reusing the email template, please go ahead as follows:
7. Click Home > New Items > More Items > Choose Form. See screenshot
8. In the Choose Form dialog box, please (1) select User Templates in File System from the Look In drop down list, (2) select the specified email template, and (3) click the Open button. See screenshot:
9. Now a new email is created with custom voting buttons based on the specified email template. Please compose it as you need, and click the Send button.
Note: For reusing the email template with custom voting buttons in future, please repeat above Step 7-9 easily.
