How to mark calendar appointment as complete in Outlook?
Once you have completed an appointment or a meeting, you may want to mark it as complete in order to easily differentiate it from other undone appointments. But in Outlook, there is no feature for you to directly mark calendar appointment as complete. Don’t worry, the following tutorial will show you a trick to solve this problem.
Mark appointment as complete with color category

Mark appointment as complete with color category
You can mark an appointment as complete by giving it a certain color category. Please do as follows.
Get into the Color Categories dialog.
1. In Outlook 2010 and 2013, please click on the appointment or meeting that you want to mark as complete to activate the Calendar Tools. And then click Categorize > All Categories under Appointment tab.
In Outlook 2007, select the appointment, and click the Categorize button on the ribbon. And then select All Categories from the list. See screenshot:
Note: Besides the above method, you can also get into the Color Categories by right-clicking the specific appointment which you want to mark as complete and then select Categorize > All Categories from the right-clicking menu.
2. In the Color Categories dialog, if you want to set your own color category for the complete appointment, you need to:
A. Click New button to display the Add New Category dialog;
B. In the Add New Category dialog, Name the new category (In this case, we name this new category as Complete Appointment), then select the color in the Color drop-down list that you want to mark. Select a Shortcut Key for it if you want as well.
C. Click OK to add the category.
D: Now you can see the new category is listed in the Color categories dialog, please click OK.
5. Here, your selected appointment has been marked with your specified color. See screenshot:
From now on, you can mark an appointment as complete by right-clicking the appointment, and then click Categorize > Complete appointment (the color category you set for the complete appointment). Or use the shortcut key you have configured above. See screenshot:
