How to hide birthday appointments in calendar in Outlook?
As you know, when you create a contact with birthday in Microsoft Outlook, it will automatically create a birthday appointment into your default calendar. This kind of birthday appointments may stuff up your calendar, and make it hard to find out the right meetings or appointments quickly. In this article, I will help you to hide all automatically generated birthday appointments in Calendar.

To hide all birthday appointments that are automatically generated with creating contacts, please do as following:
Step 1: Shift to the Calendar view, and open the calendar that you will hide all birthday appointments in.
Step 2: Click the View Settings button on the View tab.
Note: In Outlook 2007, you can click the View > Current View > Customize Current View.
Step 3: In the popping up Advanced View Settings dialog box, please click the Filter button.
Step 3: Then the Filter dialog box comes out, go to the Advanced tab, and:
(1) Click the Filed > All Appointment fields > Subject;
(2) Click the Conditior (or Condition) box, and select the doesn’t contain from the drop down list;
(3) In the Value box, enter the text of Birthday.
(4) Click the Add to List button.
(5) Click the OK button.
Step 4: Click the OK button in the Advanced View Settings dialog box to apply this filter.
Then all birthday appointments are hidden from opened calendar immediately.
Note: You can save the custom view with clicking the Change View > Save Current View as a New View on the View tab in Outlook 2010 and 2013.
