How to export Outlook contacts to Gmail?
Supposing you have been working with Outlook for a long time, and now you need to switch to Gmail, and move Outlook data information into Gmail. So how to move Outlook contacts into Gmail? Here I will introduce the detailed steps about exporting Outlook contacts, and adding into Gmail.

Part 1: Export Outlook contacts as a .csv file
Before importing Outlook contacts into Gmail, you have to export contact folder as a .csv file in Microsoft Outlook.
Step 1: Open the Import and Export Wizard dialog box:
- In Outlook 2013, click the File > Open & Export > Import/Export;
- In Outlook 2010, click the File > Open > Import;
- In Outlook 2007, click the File > Import and Export.
Step 2: In the Import and Export Wizard dialog box, click to select the Export to a file, and click the Next button.
Step 3: In the Export to a File dialog box, click to select the Comma Separated Values, and then click the Next button.
Step 4: In the new dialog box, click to highlight the contact folder that you will export as .csv file, and then click the Next button.
Step 5: Go ahead and click the Browse button, and then in the popping up Browse dialog box:
(1) Select the folder that you will save the exported .csv file into;
(2) Enter a name for this exported file into the File name box;
(3) Click the OK button in the Browse dialog box;
(4) Click the Next button in the Export to a File dialog box to go on exporting.
Step 6: Click the Finish button .
Part 2: Import the .csv file of Outlook contacts into Gmail
Now you have exported Outlook contacts as a .csv file, and you can login your Gmail on Internet, and imported Outlook contact easily.
Step 1: Login your Gmail on Internet.
Step 2: In your Gmail, click the Gmail > Contacts at the top-left corner. See screen shot below:
Step 3: In Gmail’s left bar, click the Import Contacts.
Step 4: In the popping dialog box, click the Browse button.
Step 5: In the new coming dialog box, find out and select the .csv file that you exported in Part 1, and then click the Open button.
Step 6: Click the Import button.
Now all contacts in the exported Outlook contact folder are imported and added into the contact list of Gmail in a minute.
