Quickly remove all column breaks in Word 2007/2010
Is there a way to remove all of column breaks in Word at once without removing them one by one? The common method is to show hidden format symbols and delete column break symbols one by one in draft view. Work may be tough for a long document. The Kutools for Word's Remove Column Break tool will delete all column breaks in the whole document or selections immediately.
The Remove Column Break tool won't affect any format styles when deleting column breaks, and all format styles are kept as same as the originals.
Click Kutools >> Remove Breaks >> Remove Column Break. See screenshot:
Usage:
1. To delete all column breaks in the whole document, just click the Remove Column Breaks option under the Remove breaks button, and then all column breaks will be cleared at once.
2. To delete all column breaks in a selection of current document, you should select this selection before clicking the Remove Column Breaks option under the Remove breaks button, and then all column breaks in this selection will be removed immediately.
