Create and insert QR code based on certain data
This section is talking about creating and inserting QR code with certain data in Word document. Please do as follows.
1. Place the cursor at the place you will insert QR code, click Kutools > Barcode > QR Code to enable the feature.
2. In the Insert QR Code window, you need to:
- 2.1) Select one type of the QR code from the Type drop-down list;
- 2.2) Specify the size of QR code in the Size box;
- 2.3) Enter the data you will general the QR code based on into the QR Code Data box;
- 2.4) Click the Insert button. See screenshot:
3. Then a QR code with entered data is inserted into the cursor location at once.
Create and insert QR code with logo or image
If you want to create a QR code with a specific style, for example, to embed a company logo or your own image in the middle of the QR code. You can achieve as below.
1. Place the cursor at the place you will insert QR code, click Kutools > Barcode > QR Code to enable the feature.
2. In the Insert QR Code window, please:
- 2.1) Select one type the QR code from the Type drop-down list;
- 2.2) Specify the size of QR code in the Size box;
- 2.3) Enter the data you will general the QR code based on into the QR Code Data box;
- 2.4) Check the Generate Logo QR code box and select the logo picture or other image as you need;
- 2.5) Click the Insert button. See screenshot:
3. Then a QR code with specific logo image is inserted into the cursor location immediately.
Note: It is optional for you to save the QR code as image as well when inserting the created QR code into document. Please check the Save QR code as image box and specify a location to save it.
