Quickly import and export auto text (quick parts) in Outlook?

An Auto Text pane will come out at the right side as soon as you click the Pane button in the Ribbon in a message window. See screen shot:

1. Click the arrow  besides  at the top of Auto Text Pane, and select the Import Default Auto Text from the drop down list. See screen shot:

 

2. In the popping up Auto Text dialog box, just click the Yes button.

3. Then a Pane dialog box comes out and displays how many quick parts and quick part categories have been imported into your Microsoft Outlook. Just click the OK button in this dialog box.

1. Click the arrow  besides  at the top of Auto Text Pane, and select the Import from the drop down list. See screen shot:

2. In the popping up Open dialog box, find out and select the file of NormalEmail.dotm that you will import into your Microsoft Outlook, and then click the Open button.

3. Then a Pane dialog box comes out and shows the total number of imported categories and imported quick parts. Just click the OK button in this dialog box.

1. Click the arrow  besides  at the top of Auto Text Pane, and select the Export from the drop down list. See screen shot:

2. In the popping up Save As dialog box, please open a destination folder that you will save the exported file into, and click the Save button.

Note: It’s optional to enter a new name for exported template in the File name: box in the Save As dialog box.
