How to add and change a second time zone in Outlook?

Let’s say your work is quite busy and you have to fly to many places across different time zones, or your colleagues, clients and friends stay in a different time zone, it may be inconvenient to figure out time difference when you are schedule your work. Actually it is available to show a second time zone in your calendar in Microsoft Outlook, which will make your work convenient and easy.

Step 1: Shift to the Calendar view by clicking the Calendar in the Navigation Pane.

Step 2: Click Time Scale > Change Time Zone in the Arrangement group on the View tab.

Step 3: It goes to the Outlook Options dialog box, and please check the Show a second time zone option in the Time Zones section.

Step 4: In the second Time zone: box, click the and select a second time zone from the drop down list.

Step 5: It’s optional. It is suggested to add labels for both time zones in two Label: boxes.

Step 6: Click OK button to finish setting.

Now you go back to the calendar view in Outlook, and the two time zones are showing besides the calendar if the calendar shows in the Day / Work Week / Week view.

If your calendar shows in Schedule View, the two time zones appear above the calendar.

Note: Time zones won’t appear if your calendar shows in Month view.

There are some differences to add and change a second time zone in Outlook 2007 from that in Outlook 2010 and 2013.

Step 1: Click Tools > Options.

Step 2: In the Options dialog box, click the Calendar Options button in the Calendar section.

Step 3: In the Calendar Options dialog box, click the Time Zone button.

Step 4: In the Time Zone dialog box, check the Show an additional time zone option.

Step 5: Select a second time zone in the Time zone: box in the Additional time zone section.

Step 6: It is suggested to add labels to both time zones in the Label: boxes.

Step 7: Click OK buttons to finish configuring.
