I have Outlook 365 and no matter what I do the grid lines will not show up. I've tried selecting all of the different types of gridlines but nothing. Does this have anything to do with having selected ALWAYS USE SINGLE-LINE LAYOUT? in OTHER SETTINGS?

I've had this same issue. This works for me but I also have hundreds of sub folders which I don't want to have to manually go through and fix the setting.

Also when I create a new subfolder in my inbox the grid lines still don't show up. How can I create a new folder with the grid lines automatically showing up?

The grid lines are there but you cannot see them very well because the color is the same as the back ground. Change Office Theme to Black and you can see them. I have been trying to find a way to make the lines/dots block but I am unable to find that

I read on another thread to reduce the contrast on your monitor. This worked for me - I went down to 55 Contrast and 100 Brightness and the lines now show up.

I tried everything you recommended and still can't get rid of the grid lines in my outlook email when I go to send an email. I clicked on "no gridlines" and it still shows gridlines.

      What else can I try?

Please post a screenshot which shows gridlines in Outlook 2013. No one else is able to enable these lines.
