How to add and remove RSS Feeds in Outlook?
Subscribing to an RSS feed in Microsoft Outlook allows you to automatically receive summaries of updated news from your favorite websites. This means you can stay updated with the latest news directly in your email, without having to visit the web pages. Add RSS Feeds in Outlook
To subscribe to the RSS Feeds and get summaries of updated news, please do it with the following steps:
Step 1: Shift to the Mail view by clicking the Mail in the Navigation pane.
Step 2: Right-click the RSS Feeds in the Navigation Pane, and then click the Add a New RSS Feed in the right-click menu.
Step 2: In the New RSS Feed dialog box, enter the address of the RSS Feed in the blank box.
Step 3: In the new popping-up dialog box, click the Yes button, if you do not need to configure the RSS Feed options.
It is optional to click the Advanced button if you need to configure some options for this newly added RSS Feed, such as Feed name, delivery folder, update limitation, and so on.
Remove RSS Feeds in Outlook
If you do not want to subscribe to the RSS Feeds and get any update summaries any longer, you can remove the RSS Feeds from Microsoft Outlook.
Step 1: Shift to the Mail view by clicking the Mail in the Navigation pane.
Step 2: Right-click the RSS Feeds folder you will remove from the Navigation Pane, and then click the Delete Folder in the right-click menu.
You may need to stop receiving updated news summaries, but not delete the RSS Feeds folder, so you can turn off the RSS Feeds in Microsoft Outlook.
Turn on / off RSS Feeds in Outlook
You can follow these steps to turn on or off the RSS Feeds in Microsoft Outlook.
Step 1: Click the File > Options.
Step 2: In the Outlook Options dialog box, click Advanced in the left bar.
Step 3: Go to the RSS Feeds section:
To turn off the RSS Feeds, please uncheck the Any RSS Feed item that is updated appears as new option, and uncheck the Synchronize RSS Feeds to the Common Feed List (CFL) in Windows Option.
To turn on the RSS Feeds, please check both options.
Step 4: Click OK.
