How to convert outlook contacts to Vcard in Outlook?
As you know, it is easy to show contacts as business cards with clicking the Change View > Business Card on the View tab. However, is it possible to convert these contacts as independent vcard files? Of course, yes! Here we will show you how to save contacts in Microsoft Outlook as vcard files easily.

Step 1: Shift to the Contact view with clicking the Contact in the Navigation Pane.
Step 2: Select the contacts that you will convert to vcard file.
Note: | 1) To select multiple consecutive contacts, please hold the Shift key and click the first contact and the last one. |
2) To select multiple inconsecutive contacts, please hold the Ctrl key and click each contact that you will convert to vcard file. |
Step 3: Forward contacts as business cards:
- In Outlook 2007, please click the Actions > Send as Business Card.
- In Outlook 2010 and 2013, please click the Forward Contact > As a Business Card in the Share group on the Home tab.
Step 4: In the Message window, please select a vcard file in the Attached: box.
Step 5: Right click the selected attachment, and select the Save As in the right-clicking menu.
Step 6: In the Save Attachment dialog box, you can do as follows.
1) Open a folder that you will save these vcard files in.
2) Change the name of vcard file in the File name: box if you need.
3) Keep the vCard File in the Save as type: box.
4) Click the Save Button.
Note: To save more vCard files, please repeat the operations from the Step 4 to Step 6.
There is an alternative method to save multiple vcard files: In the Step 5 right click the selected file, and click the Select All in the right-clicking menu, and then drag all selected files into the folder that you opened in Windows explorer.
