When sending some important emails, you may want to make the email subject line red so that it stands out in the recipient’s mail list and attracts their attention. This article introduces a shortcut to show you how to send an email with subject line in red color in Outlook.

You can send an email with subject line in red color by adding an expired reminder to it. Please do as follows.

1. Create an email and compose it.

2. Click "Home" > "Follow Up" > "Add Reminder". See screenshot:

3. In the "Custom" dialog box, you need to:

3.1 Uncheck the "Flag for Me" box;
3.2 Check the "Flag for Recipients" box;
3.3 Check the "Reminder" box and select a date earlier than today from the drop-down list;
3.4 Click the "OK" button. See screenshot:

4. Click the "Send" button to send the email.

The email’s subject as well as the sender name will be displayed in red color in the recipient’s mail list as shown in the screenshot below:
