Outlook: How to show autocomplete suggestions when typing
In Outlook, there is an option that can show autocomplete suggestions when you edit in the message body if checked. Supposing when you type ”welcome”, the “to the” will be auto-followed, see screenshot:
Note: The method provided in the tutorial are operated in Outlook 365, if you are in other versions, there may be some differences in steps.
Show autocomplete suggestions
1. Click "File" > "Options" to enable the "Options" window, then click "Mail" in the left pane of the "Options" window, and click "Editor Options" in the right section.
2. In the "Editor Options" window, click "Advanced" tab, then go to the right section to tick the "Show AutoComplete suggestions" checkbox. Click "OK" > "OK" to close the windows.
Now when you type some common fixed phrases, the bottom half of the phrase will be auto-shown when you type the top half. Press "Tab" key to fill it automatically.
