Kutools for Outlook 10.00 – Release Notes

New Feature

1. Close to Minimize

This Close to Minimize feature prevents Outlook from closing accidentally when you click the Close button. Instead, it minimizes the Outlook window if you click the Close button while this utility is enabled. See screenshot:

2. Message Reminders

With this feature, you can mark incoming messages as important based on their subject, body, sender name, or sender address. If a new email matches the rules you’ve created, an alert message will pop up to remind you. See screenshot:

3. Sender Time Zone

This feature helps you know the current time in the sender’s time zone. It displays not only the sender’s local time and time zone but also the sending time and date of the selected email in the message header. See screenshot:

4. Go To Folder

This feature enables you to easily find and navigate to a specified Outlook folder.

5. Message Header Analyzer

With this feature, you can easily view detailed information from the internet header of a selected email.

6. Quick Report

This feature lets you generate an XML file that reports all item information in the current email or task folder.

7. Consolidating Folders

With this feature, you can combine items from same-type folders (such as Mail, Calendar, or Task folders) from one or multiple email accounts into a specified Outlook folder. See screenshot:

8. Merge Inboxes

This feature merges all inboxes from different email accounts and categorizes the merged emails by message type. See screenshot:

9. Mark Deleted As Read

With this feature, you can mark all unread items in the Deleted Items folder as read with a single click.

10. Fixed Reply Formatting

With this feature, you can easily change your email reply formatting in Outlook and always use the specified format when replying to messages. See screenshot:

11. BCC Warning

After enabling the BCC Warning feature, a warning dialog box will pop up if your email address appears in the BCC field when replying to an email.

12. Remove Subject Prefix

With this feature, you can quickly remove all default reply (RE:), forward (FW:), and custom subject prefixes from selected emails or all emails within selected folders. See screenshot:

13. Remove Stuck Messages

With this feature, stuck messages in the Outbox are removed all at once.

Improvements

1. A new tab named “Kutools Plus” has been added. See screenshot:

2. The Open Folder feature has been added to the right-click menu. See screenshot:

3. The Statistics, Delete Duplicate Emails, and Delete Duplicate Tasks features have been improved.
4. The management interfaces for the CC/BCC and Auto Forward features have been improved.
