 How to check if a file exists in a specific folder?

To check if a file exists in a specific folder or not in Excel worksheet, you can apply the following VBA code, please do as this:

1. Hold down the ALT + F11 keys to open the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications window.

2. Click Insert > Module, and paste the following code in the Module Window.

Note: In the above code, you should change the file path and name C:\Users\DT168\Desktop\Test folder\Book2.xlsx" to your need.

3. After pasting the code, please press F5 key to run this code:

(1.) If the file exists, you will get the following screenshot:

Na verdade nem faz diferença, vc pode desabilitar o screenupdate no inicio do código e nem mencionar novamente no final que dá certo do mesmo jeito e não faz diferença nenhuma no projeto
