As below screenshot, you want to sum numbers in A2 and B2 then multiply the result by 20%, please do as follows to quickly get it down.

1. Select a blank cell (C2 in this case), enter formula =SUM(A2,B2)*0.2 or =(A2+B2)*0.2 into the Formula Bar and then press the Enter key.

2. Drag the Fill Handle down to apply the formula to other cells.

Try the following array formula. After entering the formula, please press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to get the result.

How to do multiple multiplications in sum?

=SUM(C24,C10)*32.5+C8*30,C4:C7*5,C16:C18*6.25

Imagine having worked 14 hours and you get 10 dollars per hour. Can you multiply 8 hours with 10 dollars. Then multiply the 3 upcoming hours(9 till 11) with 125%?

NEED TO ADD AND MULTIPLY ONE SET OF FORMULA AND THE REPEAT IT AGAIN THE SAME FORMULA BUT TO ADD BOTH TOTALS TO ONE ONE TOTAL IN THE SAME CELL
